Oil Pastels and Watercolour art
What you will need:
Method:
You will need the following materials: Pentel Oil Pastels, AQUASH brush, a cup or a container to wash your brush, a paper towel to clean your brush, and Pentel watercolour paints.
You can use any colour you like in this project!
Firstly, print out the morning glory template. Normal paper is fine, but we recommend thick paper.
Trace the lines with oil pastels.
Make sure you trace all the lines!
Then colour in the grey areas with your choice of colour.
Get a small amount of Pentel watercolour paint onto your palette. Don't worry if you don't use all the paint on the palette, you can use it for your next project because you can use Pentel watercolour paints even when they dry up - just add water!
These are the colours we used for this project!
Cobalt Blue (No. 23), Prussian Blue (No. 24), Yellow Green (No.17), Viridian (No.18), Vermilion (No. 10), Red (No.11), Lemon Yellow (No.1) and Yellow (No.12)
Unscrew the tip of the Pentel AQUASH brush and fill it with water.
Start painting!
Just dab a small amount of paint on your brush (no need to water them down first) and paint away!
Halfway there...
The leaves will look amazing if you mix green and yellow paint!
Done!
